In this video, English writer, producer, and co-founder of Monty Python John Cleese very eloquently put into words what I and many others have been thinking about when it comes to political correctness. Political correctness has gotten out of hand. The idea that you have to be protected from ideas that offend you is absurd. John Cleese states the reason he never attends university events anymore is because political correctness on campus has gotten out of hand. He made a very interesting point in this video—if you can’t control your own emotions, how you are going to control and dictate the way other people behave? Anyway, it’s a very good video and definitely worth a watch or two.
